Do I need a Strava-account to play Wandrio?
You don’t need to have a Strava-account to play Wandrio. You can use the built-in recording option, to record you exploration adventures. But you can also integrate your Strava-account into Wandrio, and get your whole history in to the app, and also get all of your new activities data straight into Wandrio.
We are also working to get integrations to Garmin, Suunto, Polar and other sport watches and bike computers.
Why aren’t my activities shown in Wandrio?
If you have just made the connection to Strava and have lots of activities, it might take some time to download them all. This time varies based on the amount of your activities, the length of them and the current workload in our system. Strava also has limits to the API-integration use. If there has been a news article about Wandrio or we have gotten a spike of users, it might take even days to gather all the data. Most of the time we will be able to show your tiles in minutes or hours.
I’m missing a tile that I have visited, why?
If you are missing a tile, that you are certain you have visited, it is most likely because we have gotten a gps-track from Strava, that isn’t accurate enough. If you have gone to a tile really fast, or just for some meters, it might not show up in Wandrio.
We have built a feature to fix this. You can click on a tile, that you have visited, but doesn’t show as a visited tile in Strava. A button will show up that says ”I think I have been here”. By clicking this button we will check the routes that go near that tile and download a detailed version of them, so you’ll get tile that is rightfully yours!
What are Finder, Legend and Mayor?
Finder is the person who visited the file first.
Legend is the player who has visited the tile most times.
Mayor is the player who has visited that tile for most times in the last 90 days.
What is the difference between Tiles, Minitiles and Microtiles?
Tiles are the main collectible in Wandrio. All the stats are per tile. But to keep things more interesting and to have something challenging for every day, we also have smaller tiles: Minitiles and microtiles so you can expand your area in your neighbourhood.
What is a tile Cluster and Megatile?
Megatile is the largest square made from your visited tiles. 10×10 megatile means you have collected all the tiles inside an 10×10 tile area. This is challenge that gets exponentially harder by each new level!
Tile cluster is an area made of tiles connected to each other. But to be a part of cluster all the tiles in the side of the tile have to be visited also!
