We are excited to announce the launch of Wandrio’s new Global Tile Map which is a powerful and visually engaging way to explore tiles collected by Wandrio app users all around the world. And also to see which tiles are still totally unexplored orphan tiles waiting for you to come and get them.
With this map, you can see every tile that has already been collected by the community, as well as discover untouched tiles that no one has visited yet. This opens up a completely new layer of exploration, turning the world into a shared, living puzzle that grows every single day, with the collaboration of thousands of users working for one shared goal. To collect every tile in the world.
The map is available both in the browser version: Game.Wandrioapp.com and in our tile hunting mobile application, making it easy to explore your progress whether you are at home or on the move. This is only the beginning: we will continue developing new and exciting functionality around the Global Tile Map in the near future.
New global tile map features
Tile Explorer
One of the upcoming features is a brand-new title called Explorer. This title will be awarded to the first person who ever visits a previously untouched tile. This is different from the Finder title. The Finder title is given to the person who, historically, was the first to visit that particular tile. It can even be awarded retroactively by connecting services such as Strava or a sports watch to Wandrio.
The Explorer title, however, is permanent. Once you earn it, it will never be taken away. It becomes a lasting badge of honor.
An Explorer is someone who actively notices an unvisited tile in Wandrio and deliberately goes out to claim it before anyone else.

New icons on tile map – see which tiles you are ruling
We have also added new icons to the map view. These icons clearly show whether you are the Legend or the Finder of a specific tile. This makes it effortless to see at a glance which areas you truly dominate and where your presence is the strongest.
Soon, we will introduce notifications that alert you whenever you earn a new Legend or Finder status or when someone takes one of those statuses from you. This way, you’ll always know when it’s time to head out to reclaim your tiles and titles.
We will continue expanding the Global Tile Map and building new features on top of it. Right now, tile details already show how many tiles you personally have collected in a specific area. I
n the future, the global map will also display how many tiles have been collected in total within any region.
Our long-term vision is to enable collaborative challenges, where Wandrio users can work together to collect all tiles in a city, a region, or even an entire country. This way we can transform lone exploration into a truly global, shared adventure.
