That is true. You can get from one place to another faster by bike and thus collect more tiles per hour. In addition, there are people in the world (ultra-cyclists) who ride hundreds of kilometres every single day. You simply won’t find anyone who can cover the same distance on foot day after day. Most active ultra cyclists have collected Mega tiles that are over 100×100. These are unbeliviable achievements even with bike, but practically impossible to do without a bike.
In fact, tile collecting was originally developed as a hobby by cyclists, which is why they have an advantage over others in the game. However we at Wandrio are working to change that. Our development team includes ultrarunners and orienteers who would like to be more competitive at tile collecting too.
The first step is to reward collecting microtiles (clusters and megatiles) and playing Wandrio consistently from day to day more generously. I
n the future, we will also divide Wandrio into several more categories. These will include at least a
- walking/running category,
- a cycling category, and an
- “anything goes (without a motor)” category.
In other words, we understand your frustration and are working to make it easier. Until we’re ready, the simplest option is to get a bike and start cycling actively! It’s quite fun too. And you can do it without spandex.
